The Legal Cheek Spring Virtual Vacation Scheme 2024
This week started off with an exciting opportunity to attend Legal Cheek's Virtual Vacation Scheme and Law Fair, hosted in partnership with The University of Law. Throughout the week, I participated in numerous workshops that covered a range of legal areas such as 'Real Estate', 'Disputes', and 'Private Equity'. These sessions were incredibly insightful, providing me with a glimpse into how multiple firms operate and what I can expect from specific areas.
I also had the chance to engage in various Employment Exposure sessions, which covered everything from researching firms and making applications to developing a CV and cover letter.
The best part? I was able to 'speed' network with fellow participants, expanding my connections and network.
Lastly, the virtual law fair was an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the experiences of trainees and their early careers teams at 30 different firms. Hearing a trainee’s perspectives and understanding how they decided to apply for each firm was incredibly valuable.
A big thank you to Legal Cheek and The University of Law for hosting this Spring Virtual Vacation Scheme and Law Fair. It was an unforgettable experience that provided me with valuable knowledge and connections within the legal industry.
