Shadowing Barrister Celine Kart - Park Square Barristers; March 2024
Myself and Phoebe Cawthorne had the pleasure of shadowing Celine Kart at Leeds Combined Court today. Following our previous trip to Leeds Combined Court’s public gallery, Celine reached out and offered her advice and support as we start to explore the aspiring legal roles we hope to pursue.
The opportunity to shadow a barrister has been an invaluable experience and a real insight into their daily roles and routines. Celine guided us through each case she had and explained in depth the aims of her clients. I thoroughly enjoy watching people advocate and how they go about their articulation, and today was nothing short of an inspiring experience. I look forward to implementing the lessons I have gained from today in the future.
As a student keen to pursue a career at the Bar, today has reassured my desire and added assurance to the journey ahead. I look forward to maintaining my connection to Celine and seeing her in the future.
